Thanks - I’m going to go with it, concrete should give a good mechanical key and the only problem I’ve ever had with SBR is getting the bloody stuff off. Might do a little test patch first tho..
I have a small concrete floor (~10m2) to level/smooth - around 3mm deep dips to take out. I’ve used Ardex K40 Flow before and like how it goes on. I’ve also got a load of SBR so don’t really want to buy Ardex expensive primer. Can I use SBR as a primer for K40? Anyone done this without issue?
Thanks
Had a young lad with us on a job in a village and we sent him in to the nearby town to get us some lunch (fish and chips) gave him £20 and said get something for yourself.
He came back with 2 portions of fish and chips but none for himself. Asked him where his was he said I don’t like fish and...
The issue I had was with boards bonded to pva’d brickwork. They were solid and flat after an hour then moved out of flush by about 5mm overnight!
Used Gtec bonding compound for 1st time never had this happen in last 30+ years…very weird…
Boarded bottom part of 2.7m high walls with 300mm pieces yesterday. Solid after about an hour. Came back today and all cut boards have curled/moved! Joints now out of flush by about 5mm!
Never experienced this before, anyone got any ideas why?
