    It could be several things. Mortar, flange, bit of lead-mate needed. Best get a roofer. Recommended one.

    I like a mediflex for final pass. Not too flexi, speeds up the process in my opinion and eases your tennis elbow. If I just used MT the whole way through now, at this stage my arm would fall off

    I have an old scraper that is worn down to shape for scraping back either side of dowlings. I dig them out neatly, then use bonding before skim and clean them as I go. I’ll try find a picture There is no need to remove these at all

    You can just tile straight onto it. But if you want to skim give it a few coats of pva or pre grit because there’ll be more suction.
