I have never had problems with them cracking before if you scrim the angle first. But open up the thin coat a bit and bond out only other option i have done
That’s what I’ve looked at, it’s a terrible job. And I can’t believe he shelled out 10k and the boy was living in a caravan in the back garden. Crazy story
Friend of my old mans got this done, and isn’t happy wanted a silicone render and they used cement based stuff.
Could you go over the top of that with a silicone render?
I’m still mostly a sand&cement guy.
Also have a guess what he got charged for it. Frightening
Looking at the collomix not having a housing for the batt could potentially pose a problem?
Had the dewalt a week now and it’s defo standing the test for me.
For the £600 £300 of that is the 9amp flex volt batts. They last for absolute ages. That’s where I reckon dewalt will beat other brands...
I started early one morning and went to shell in town for a coffee left the van running and made my coffee. Went to pay and the attendant was looking out the window, the van had went backwards turned 90 degree sitting in the middle of the road with a bus on the kerb trying to get past.

It’s hawk lol. Couldn’t even get half a scoop on it. Plus it’s for folk who can’t use one. It’s going back it’s a shocker lol.
They have good deals and they will swap stuff about you want too.
I have a couple lads out to help me tomorrow.
One loves the saying
Team work makes the dream work!!
Bloody true like
Sat in my van till 10 o’clock last Friday just couldn’t be arsed working on my Todd again
What’s that saying. All the gear and no idea
It’s a brilliant machine, Defo glad I took the plunge and if it last, it will pay for its self. But if it fucks up after a couple year. I’ll drive to the nearest dewalt office and throw it through the window
Well had the new beast out yesterday and today. And well impressed and I’m not just saying that cause I spent a fortune on it lol.
But a massive step up and mixes effortless felt easier on the arms. Really quiet too. Loads of power.I’ve just been mixing one bag at a time on speed 2/3 patching...
Been snowed in since I got it gutted lol. Monday is the day :bailando: hopefully.
Had to put ear defenders on to charge the batteries though haha.
I’ll post Monday getting pished tonight and tomorrow :birra:
Take it you use that for damp work too then, with a bit of waterproofed in?
What line product do you use and do you have to leave it for a certain amount of time?
Yeah it's brutal if you have a lot of blocking out to do mix in smaller batches. Bonding 60 was decent though and finish didn't sook like f**k on it either. Not sure what the price was, The pink bonding is shite
I've had one grey bag in about year much better to use. Travis by me is gd price for finish that's all I by there. They gave me couple bags of bonding 60 decent stuff but I think the pink bonding goes off quicker
My Local travis told me today that B&Q have recalled all there plaster cause multi and bonding have been put in the wrong bags? Havnt checked it out. But some cock up if true
