@Danny should I recive notifications in the app. I downloaded it a few days ago and not quite got to grips with it yep although am loving it. When I log in on the lap top I find loads of notifications that don't seem to show on the app.

Just did a job patching with it. Jesus wept forgot had **** it is to use. Only used it as had some extra to mix with the multi to go over some artex.

When mixing bonding and skim for going over artex, how much bonding to skim do you add to cover a heavy artex say 8mm? Is 50/50 too much? then a normal skim mix for 2nd coat? Will the top coat bubble like when skimming bonding to early?

@Danny when I view the news website on my phone it comes up as a mobile website. The forum however is the same as on my lap top just smaller. Is this to do with the app? The news site is much easier to use on my phone than the forum.

Does everyone do this their self's or get a firm in to do it for them? Say your looking at a over-skim job and find a tide mark around the room. Do you try to sort it your self or tell the client to get a firm in to take a look/quote?

As above please, did a search but couldn't find anything useful. I have always used PVA or SBR but as the client is insisting on supplying the materials I thought I would add a tub to the list.

I have been pricing up a few bits I need to replace in the new year. Anyone used the tall 30L buckets from Wicks on the website £5 a pop??????? What they like???? The ones I use at the min are the ones the tanking we use come in but they a bit crap and crack and split real easy.

seen some guys dabbing insulated boards the other day on a small site and they were cutting them with a cheap £40 battery circular saw. Good idea i thought if you get a load to do, dont think they would last long though. Any one else done this?
