    Just thinking it’s easier malc with one material and treat it like a scratch render, I’ve scratched a bit before and it seemed the to go the same way as mono i was going to treat it like mono sponge it then Tyrolean it with parinter then paint it

    Call you’re local larger drylining/plastering firms there the ones more likely to take on apprentices, it’s a good time to get into plastering there’s low labour levels good luck

    Google it mate a sheet of plasterboard and a bag of hardwall or sand cement etc prices to do it still vary on what the jobs like

    Some people like a traditional feel in a house I.e solid plaster but comes down to what’s involved and if they can because of the building you need to get a plasterer to see the job my lovely x

    Ask for quotes impossible to give you a rough ball park figure and forget sqm prices You will more than likely get quotes of 2-300 per day over a period of time if that helps

    God knows how the thin coat lads do it especially in the winter I’m no expert but I think it takes two -three days to go off proper so you have to be John kettley!

I was chatting to a lad today and he’s put a shelf in to slide tools in so that’d help that load through thing being useable when it’s not full of tools or straight edges do they go through the foot well and do you have that little half seat the three seater thing is it useable...

    Paint it coloured maintanence free render is a myth it’s possibly the worst finish for gathering algae and dirt Just hope it’s not K-rend or you will have pretty pink streaks running down you’re house

    I’m getting into sponging now so may try a same bucket mix, doesn’t matter if first coat doesn’t take up around thick areas the sponge sorts it doesn’t it For me It gets get annoying when you have hard angles and you’re second coating dragging s**t into you’re next coat I like to clean my angles...

    Want to one coat but I don’t know if it’s worth it have scrim coming through and tapered joints bubble, don’t know why we’re bothered the rest of the plastering on site is shocking but we’re working for a firm where they will pull you and I’m trying to get into them it’s one of those lol

    True mate they could do with taking 20 mins of the setting time Hate skimming board much prefer hardwall and sand cement is dreamy just a shame it’s not around anymore Using board finish at the mo I can’t see any difference at all between that and multi still takes forever to go off ?
