1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

How’s about an agree to respect each other’s views and appreciate we may take a different approach to get the same end result ...... a decent job. If anything you owe my missus an apology as she just had to eat burnt shepherds pie as I was busy giving it large and forget the oven was on.

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

To be competitive we will have to move with the market, what else can I do. What really annoys me is when we go to a manufacturer training day my labourer (thick as f**k) is twice as fast and twice as neat as the plasterers there, my labourer cannot plaster btw.

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

On that note, I am fed up of getting phone calls and looking at jobs that have been f**k*d up and not done correctly. On here and in real life. That’s why I like to try and give some good info to avoid people getting taken for £0000 and hopefully encourage people to look into more than just the...

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

No, our system is 1 spray followed by 1 takes excess off with steel trowel then 2 rub up. And to be fair the finish is very uniform.

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

And btw, this, this sort of conversation I can do. Not the silly insults, accusations of being a ginger. Not having a clue. I can agree to disagree and have an adult conversation, It I will stand by what I said, I thing the op would have benefited from heavily watering down his material on a...

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Yes, spraying with less water will not go through a hopper gun, it spits. The material is too thick. Hand applying in colder weather neat is ok, 500ml added In the summer in direct sun, while I agree will weaken the material ever so slightly, as with any setting material, will aid in...
  7. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Why did you say adding 500ml would need a brush to apply?
  8. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

The point was you said it couldn’t be spread by trowel after adding 500ml of water. I quoted you, up there. It would need a brush, you said. Slowing the setting times down on most materials by adding more water will weaken the finished strength of a product, such as concrete........ But...

We answering this question sloppy chops or what? Got a shepherds pie and a bottle of hendos waiting here....
  10. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Like I said, continue to dodge the question and try and move your argument.
  11. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

I’ve answered enough for you, how about explaining why you said watering down silicone by 500ml was no good, need a brush etc. And then apologise to me
  12. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Answer my question you bellend. Why did you say that 500ml could not be spread by trowel and a brush would be needed. The little video we did shows otherwise? Answer before you get a hernia
  13. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

I’m only a dickhead because I continue to show you up for what you are .......... a t**t A man who come on here to belittle and act a c**t, accuse and throw wild accusations around without evidence, and to act up to the real nuts. Your a phoney, your reputation is f**k*d by a newbie like me...

  16. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

I scraped that off and sprayed 75m2 through an lk402 and hopper gun straight after, again 500ml water to silicone ratio
  17. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Answer the question boy. Don’t alter the subject again. Why did you say 500ml of water in silicone was too much and needed to be brushed on?
  18. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Come on gobblechops don’t freeze up again @vfr12
  19. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Not according to dear squealer VFR12 The guy accuses me of being a fraud when in fact he himself is the fraud. He will no doubt try to move the childish belittlement towards another area of my work in another failed attempt to make himself look like the big man.
  20. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

500ml of water in that bucket of eco rend silicone. Put it on the wall with a trowel. No brush, no rollers ..... with a trowel Care to answer squealer? @vfr12

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

You alter and suit your argument to mask your previously failed attempt. First I was the ginger man you were wrong Second money cannot be made stripping @ £5 m2 you were wrong again Then you start with the old monorex Parmurex quiz, wrong again Fourth you start with I don’t know what I’m...

Which is why I edited the post straight away Poor taste, I agree. Apologies if any offence caused
  27. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

What’s the date on that photo, it’s as far back as I can go on this phone. Bringing my second apprentice through while my other apprentice now subs to me as a full time renderer To solve the problem was to water the gear down so he can spread it thinner and have a little more time to rub it...
  28. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

There’s no point trying to baffle the lad. Put 300ml - 500ml either a cup or a small bottle. Put it on with a steel trowel tight and take off excess with the same trowel. There’s no rubbing up with steel. Others might but we don’t. Plastic float on it ASAP rubbing up and taking anymore excess...

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

We water them all down between 300ml and 500ml and have never had a problem. By hand or sending through a hopper gun. We Render day in day out. You talk out of your arse, are a bully and have the grammar of a small child with learning disabilities.
  30. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Water your material down, it will be easier to spread and easier to get tighter.
  31. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Where has the guy said he sprayed it on? You do add water whether spraying or hand applying 1mm, 1.5 or 3mm any grain size as it clogs the hopper gun, but that’s irrelevant. My second sentence was to “Thin it out” You say it’s in too thick. That’s basically the same thing. Are you special in...
  32. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Me? Coming from the guy who is obsessed with a ginger man. What you know about Rendering could be written on the back postage stamp. Tha knows nowt

  34. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

...... and probably water it down
  35. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Yeah, possibly a bit too warm. Could have pulled in a bit quick or skinned on the surface too quickly. If the customers not pulled it and happy I’d take it on the chin and learn from it. Primer needs about 2 hours minimum on a decent warm day to dry properly, below 10/12 degrees mid day id...
  36. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

It also doesn’t look too bad. Has the customer pulled it?
  37. Mr White

1.5mm silicone render, cracking all over

Atlas is more than likely gear. When did you put it on? What sort of temperatures. Always advisable to put around 500ml of water per tub in any top coat to thin it out and give you a little more time with it.

They are decent, take all the hard work out of sponging up. Time saving on big walls too. For mono, they are no good.
