I know there is a shortage of plasterer's on here but wondering is there any plumbers on here if so which is the best bath for keeping the heat in tin cast iron or shitty fibreglass
went to workshop today picked up the trowel and the blade fell of its backing pad /and on my birthday to/ think some ones saying time to retire will try glueing it last blade split any body else had issues with rifina stuff
maybe jumping the gun here it must have been lath and plaster but surly the warning signs would be there cracks bulges ect poor kids they would be terrified
whats this the wife said when the post came this morning an envelope to norman plasterer which felt like it contained money but no f**k*r owes me /low and behold when I opened it it was stuffed with strips of @tapit tape /CHEERS m8 I will report back in about a fortnight I have a dozen to fix on...
just looked at this 2 bays one with all ornate stuff missing other complete thing gone loads of missing bits on ceiling centres and other cornice work and she wants a price /will give her a guesstimate I think
day and half next week and I am done with plain plasterwork that big house I was on finished /but will carry on doing cornice work and anything unusual
took this down today 5inch cove not stuck on just tacked noticed fixing area very deep compared with modern stuff /interesting to see where it was made

been asked to dab these onto stone walls in a Victorian house but not keen on the idea any body had problems with this /at the moment I would sooner leave the timber straps in place infill the gaps with Kingspan then overboard with foil backed/some sensible replies please
