SBR is PVA but with a chemical thiner rather than just water we mix it with some sharp sand
but if the bricks have a glaze u should realy wire lath As they spawl to F**K. IE Think coating cement on glass does nt stick well
If they made every thing to last and not get damaged we'd be ouut a job just remember that.

if its a solid wall and u oil paint outside the salts will turn up inside so always hack plaster off inside coat twice with sand cement with good water proofer then re scim

the better u leave the plaster finish for the builder. The worse they leave the sheeting on the next job >:(
