I’ve had a damp proof company round. It’s them who suggested renderlite. Once they’ve injected the walls and painted on a tanking paint below the holes.
This was before the chimney was removed though as if wasn’t evident in the room in the picture at the time
Hand on heart I didn’t do it. He’s left his radio and bags of miltifinish so assuming he’s coming back.
Any suggestions on how much it would cost to sort a wall out like that? Can it be sorted as it is?
I’ve not touched it! I’ve been warned by everyone to stay clear from plastering. Too much skill involved!
Didn’t see the chap who did it. Was the joiners mate. Supposedly coming back when there’s other bits to do.
Should I tell him not to bother? Any idea what’s involved to sort it?

Just had a chimney breast removed.
Had a plasterer round to do some work. Think he’s used bonding to render we’re the chimney was. See pic.
Can see visible damp running up the wall.
Can I get away with chipping it away up to 1.2 metres and replacing with renderlite?
