    Got skim set up...yeeesss

I haven’t used mp finish nor bg spray finish,so can’t really help with the striping. Did you sponge it? Think it’s part of the process on bg video on utube. Am I correct in thinking your machine is an eze? Does that use a rotor/stator? I’ve seen that gun before, ive ordered a different type of...

    Got skim set up...yeeesss

Spraying finish is definitely the way forward. Don’t give up,we’re all learning from your experience ,no matter how painful it is!!! I think we’ve just got to refine the nozzle/gun. Can you post up a picture of the gun you’ve got?

    Honda 5kva generator for m200

    M-TEC M200 FOR SALE

The only difficult thing I’ve found with the m200 is how tight to have the rotor and stator. But they’ve got a really easy way of setting it up now using the pressure gauge ,a bent over pipe and some water! Make sure Dave or whoever does your training ,shows you how. I personally think it’s one...

    Got skim set up...yeeesss

I’ve been told the worst thing about spraying thistle is the overspray. I haven’t used mine yet,but I’m going to practice at home . I think some experimentation with the nozzle is in order.

    Airless

Hi I've been looking at the airless plaster and was wondering, do you have to prepare moisture resistant board like you would with multi finish? Do those Graco mark v machines break down into smaller pieces, to get them upstairs and the like?

    Smoothest coloured render

Thanks for all the information, the vk2 looks exactly what I've been looking for. So you just sponge it, to get it that flat? I've never used a sponge float before. Do you use a basecoat with it?

    Smoothest coloured render

I did wonder about the 1mm top coat . When I floated the monorex,I was told be careful to rub it the same amount all over because that can cause a colour difference
  15. L

    Smoothest coloured render

Have you rubbed it up with a float and then sponged it?
  16. L

    Smoothest coloured render

Yes, I rubbed up monorex gf a few years ago and it was hard work because it would tear if you didn't hit at the right time. I wondered if there's any thin coat that might be suitable?

    What's machines are about?

Go straight for the m200. Now we know what we're doing, it's easy to use and will do what you ask of it. If you've not had a machine ,it's going to be a very steep learning curve but it's well worth the struggle . If you have the slightest doubt about what you're doing with the machine,ALWAYS...

    mtec 200

Hi We've recently bought an m200 . I've not used a ritmo. It's a steep learning curve, but what would've took me 2 days to hand apply, only took half a day. I do small amounts of Ewi and it seems perfectly able to cope,in fact I've got it on the slower speed because its too fast for my brain. I...

As above, but you'll be shocked how much time and effort you'll have to put in just for them to learn the simplest of tasks. If you do find one that's ok,stick with it. There's few things that will give you more satisfaction when they complete a wall on their to a good standard

  39. L

    Ritmo l

We're not doing big areas of mono yet. I'd like to use the machine mostly for skimming, not sure we'd do more meterage but it should mean easier shorter days.

    Brushes and Moulds!!!!

Hello. They're called double knot brushes and you can get them at ridgeons. When you're doing the brushwork be careful you don't create patterns in it. It's actually quite difficult to produce a random pattern. But once you've mastered it you'll be able to cover a lot of meters.

    parapet wall

Hello Unfortunately its not as simple as it seems. The coping is actually narrower than the wall below ,this means there's a slope of render that is totally exposed to the rain. I'll post photos asap. I was thinking of tanking it but wondered what other solutions people might suggest. Thanks
