    Alright bud, it’s pretty good but we did have a leak through the lead, All fixed now and it’s around 18inches wide.

    Alright bud, thanks for the reply. I’m going to repoint the bricks with 5/1/1 mortar, should I use sbr before hand/after? Not sure how it reacts with lime. Thanks in advance

    the valley is around 18inches and did have a leak at one point until I fixed it. My guess is that the render mix was to strong. In the gaps between the two buildings I found old tiles. Looks like the gap has been there a long time and they just rendered over it.

    Thanks for the reply, I took the render off and now have quite a large gap between the two buildings The person before filled the gap with tile and cement and then rendered over it.‍‍

    Hi, I have a rendering job to do on 1850s house.Some of the bricks are blown. what slurry mix would I use? Considering the old cement render cracked, I’m thinking of using a 5/1/1cement, sand, lime render.
