Not being a builder myself please will you let me know what the renderer should have done. Is it possible to put another bead a little further down? Please help!

I have a Tudor style house in Nottingham UK that is being re-rendered in Weber monocouche.
It’s 1930s built with a new breeze block extension on one side.
The finish on the original house has left about an inch and a half of the lower facing brick showing and I am looking for ideas to share...
