A lady from the trade counter at B&Q rang me today and told me there doing 15% off this friday,saturday and sunday only.Aint sure if its a national thing ????????
Got a full house ceiling overboard and re plaster starting next week so gonna by plenty friday morning.

Also do you guys no if B&Q do tappered edge board ??? i dont think iver ever seen it there.
 
not sure about t/e board. whats their prices like never used b and q for materials always thought they would too dear compared to the usual trade outlets.... !!!
 
Last time we went to bnq my mate put a pack of screws in between 2 bags of skim at the bottom of about 6 bags (I didnt know he had done it) and when we went through the check out the lady on the check out went straight to the screws like she had some sixth sense or the cameras saw him ::)
 
I was gutted the other day, I get all my materials from magnet and went to get some gear last friday and there was feck all there. Asked the chap where all the stuff was he said thay had a 70% clearout yesterday.
 
you missed out there....... I was doing a damp job about 5-6 year ago and convinced the customer to go with dri-coat and told them how much it is and they were fine with the fact it was £10 a bag,when i got to B n Q all there dri-coat was on special for £1.50 a bag i needed 15 bags so that job was a nice little earner ;D

bandq check everything no bod ;)....youre best bet is keep youre hands in pockets and chose a till with some old chap and watch that c**t lift 6 bags of finish ;D
