Hello,
I’m trying to learn as much as possible about lath and plaster as the plaster (& floorboards) are the only original feature left in our house and I want to keep the building breathing. Have had one attempt at skimming a wall that needs doing and it looks a bit rough (see photo) . Hoping to get a lot better
Outside is lime and brickwork with lime render - has had some cement repairs. Loads of repointing to do some time.
Have a basement that is 1/2 underground (house built into a hill) - trying to solve damp issues.
