what do you think is an average price for internal scratch/float/sponge at 18mm total thickness plus 10mm stop beads around the top and approx every 7 metres 2 sets of bak to back beads at 3-4 m high ?.......all site work
 
Spunky..... Divide the average cost of a shag from the local whore by 3 and you wont be far of a m2 price mate.
Alternitavely multiply the cost of a coc k suc k from the local rent boy x 3 and divide by 2 to get average m2 price.
Keep this method hush hush though mate dont want the world knowing the best pricing method.
Wish i new one for floor screeding m2 ???

WOW your our first telepathic member 8) How did you work out the size of the job from the original post?

Spunky why 10mm stop beads if it's 18mm 2 coat work? That would make the top coat thicker than the first coat, you'd be better of using 19mm stop beads.
 
monkey do what monkey say mate .....apparantly its an 8mm scratch coat then beads and top coat i think ....never seen a 19mm stop bead tbh mate
 
Its a weird spec mate as they wants a sbr splatter coat then 8mm scratch then 10mm topcoat what we started with was waterproof in base coat then went on with out it as it wouldt go off luckily i havent personally done any topcoating there all i was doing was the scratch coat. Brian was coming behind top coating.

I use 19mm stop beads a lot on external renders.
It's unusual for a spec on a job to go against B.S. like that isn't it.
 
Its nearly 4m high and you got to do the splatter it actually takes better to the blockwork without it but you have to follow the spec :(
 
did you let it dry completely or is it just to kill the suction mate .......theres nothing in for it then ..ill just wet the blocks ???
 
Yes carlos was doing it when i was there last and he was getting £1 a m2 and yeah they want it done the day before and some dude comes round taking pics between :o
 
Is there any work on this site?

Had a ring round the other week and had no call backs yet, thought optimum would of had something, been out the site work for about a year now, who has the work...lol
