Hi Guys and Ladies
You all should have received an email from me today Sorry I dont often send many a year but i thought this was quite important SO just in case your spam got hold of it here it is again
Three trade associations (Federation of Plasterers and Dryliners, Association of Interior Specialists and the National Association of Shopfitters) all got together to improve the provision of training in the interiors' sector and are liaising with CITB to ensure a better training deal for the sector; as part of an ongoing Training Review.
One aim of the training review is also to develop new apprenticeship models which are more attractive for employers and learners alike going forward. In the area of interior systems, for instance (drylining, ceiling fitting, partitioning, etc.) less than 1% of new entrants come into the sector via the apprenticeship route; the figures are higher for plasterers.
Help us make a difference for your sector and feed into the ongoing Interiors Sector Training Review by taking part in our survey, which can be accessed here:

As a thank you for taking part, participants can enter their contact details into a prize draw which could win you a new Apple iPad.
If you have recent experience with apprenticeships which you are happy to share, please email [email protected] Whether you want to let us know about problems you encountered as an apprentice or employer of an apprentice, or if you have good practice, which is worth sharing, please get in touch.
Link Removed
As I said always working towards improving the trade and taking part in this survey is a step in the right direction
Please go ahead and vote and you can win an Ipad
All the best
Danny
