6mm beads yes or no?

Having to go over someone else's work with 6mm beads. I was going to use 10mm beads but k rend spec 6mm beads and the builder wants to do it in 6mm. Bit nervous about this. Anyone done it before?

im sure their data sheets say min 10mm coat. could be wrong but wouldnt chance it myself

ive went over plenty peoples mono with bucket coat without using another basecoat as long as the mono is flat

i think he means using mono on top of mono with 6mm beading

They must mean using a poly base and TC finish. Surely not mono on mono at 6mm. Like Dan says. Wrong.

I re did a mono I f**k*d up last year , was 10 mm bead mate

No beads just primer and sprayed the topcoat. Can't see redoing mono with 6mm beads tbh

10mm beads and away you go

6mm mono is too thin. You’ll end up going back to original

Parex will say 6mm min thickness for over render if the builders been a tight ass it’s a nice easy job in one pass if it goes tits up you’re only doing what he asked
