Stick a whisk in and off you go!!! Ive used these cheapo drills for years with no problems. But beddy says they're only good for cake mixes lol I guess there's no substitute for experience :RpS_laugh:

That's what I said spunky. Turns up in his nice sparkly van then gets that piece of s**t out. Great for mixing cove addy lol

I just use a stick, gotta get your priorties right & spend your money on more important things. :RpS_wink:
Fcuk spending £400 just to mix up skim lmfao :RpS_laugh:

haha still better than most of these "plasterers" out there at the mo, all the gear and no idea. i tried useing these cheap drills before an they diddnt last long

jr, the secret is, DON'T give it the full throttle and burn it oot lol i'm still using my old one and its 2 years old. Does the job nicely. Okay. i'm not mixing hundreds of bags per week but it easily copes with my usual 4 or 5 bags a day on domestics AND its smaller and lighter to use than a 1400w mixer. On Domestics......Light is right

You heard it here first kids "Light is right"
And don't forget your gorilla tubs for mixing in no need for a spot board either :RpS_biggrin:

That's right lee. The final result is what matters most. I cant be doing with spot boards or big mixers on my domestics when space can be a problem. I'd much rather concentrate on the finished job.

Correct!!
I know a lad with a Refina megamixer & he's s**t :RpS_biggrin:
I upgraded from my stick to a 400w hammer drill few years back & it's still going now. It mixes a half bag gauge a day no problem. :RpS_thumbup:

I suppose you're right. The more tools you've got in a room, the more things in the way of the mirror when youre takin a pic lol

Ime using 1200 watt jobby from Aldi variable speed slow start all you need for domestics £35 how many of them can you buy for £400.

nothing wrong with them.never had a problem.a £200 £300 mixer on private jobs doesnt impress anybody. the jobs still the same at the end of the day.

Bath n shovel for browning and nails for plasterboard unless it's a lath job :RpS_thumbup:

I use an Aldi £40er for mixing drywall adhesive. Just to use and abuse. It's louder than a 747! Hate the f***ing thing but it does the job!

:RpS_crying:

Really !!! Well done, did the gorilla tub come free with the drill? U been eyein up my arse? How'd u know it was a chunky butt?

What's this 2 years stuff? Buy the right mixer and look after it and it will last a life time. I've used a cheap one a few times when people say its ok I've got a mixer. They are s**t, take for ever and the paddles are to small.
