firstly, ive got to finish off a wall that someone has started. They have started from the right side of the wall.
I always go from the left side but should i come off of his original finish so that i can judge it the same thickness?

also, is there anything better than wickes pva cause the walls are really old and im finding that im getting hardly anytime at all to work with the finish.

cheers

If pva aint working too good try wickes bonding agent or gypbond

whats been done so far?
I'll assume it's some kind of backing plaster and you're going to finish that then skim the lot.
I'd WBA the stuff to be done and wok off the already completed stuff backwards across the wall.
Then skim the whole lot.

Wickes do alot of good products but their PVA isn't 1 of them. Use Unibond m8. Costs more but alot better.
