Hello,
I found this site while looking for an explanation of dot and screed. This place is great. The give and take in the comments is pure art. Also of course, the available information on how to is wonderful.

May your trade continue in health. As near as I can tell, here in North Carolina, different factors have made stucco contractors nearly unavailable or unaffordable, so I'm doin it myself. I have a 10', (3m) block fence, 120' (counting both sides). By the time I get to the end, I may know a little. The first scratch coat is on, so all I have to do is cover up all my mistakes, and get the finish coat on.

I'll be around here lurking and reading.

When I first glanced at the thread I thought you were someone that looked at lady's bits all day! :RpS_blushing:

Welcome along Qroger (did your typing fingers slip?)
Did you build the wall yourself and are there any expansion joints in it?
