It's always a pain if mixing up downstairs then trying to carry stuff up past ladder and plank least with this you can walk through the ladder part and the platform tilts up
the website sell some good platforms for ceilings 2.4 long

Its a good price, we used to use a similar one, there only really any good for tacking/skimming ceilings, try and stick the ceiling and walls on in one off that is a nightmare.
We now use these which are a lot better.
Oxford safety platform system.

Yep the joys of domestics.
Unfortunately caught doing that on most sites these days results In getting shown the gate. :-(

the site im on at the moment have a rule that you cant even wear short sleeve shirts,,, wtf is that all about,, never heard that one before

I've heard this before some bolloxs about skin cancer risks on exposed skin. Although if your inside it shouldn't matter a toss.

Looks a great bit of kit, I'm so used to telescopic ladders and Scaff boards. Always nice when you reach over the landing and not need to set up access

splashes are a danger unless you're jace

I have the exact same scaffold , got it years ago when I was doing site work all the time, once it's up it's ok but still find yourself pissin about climbing through it and wasting time if you have a stair wall on. Now I'm on domestic work I'm back to my trusty ladder, two scaffold boards and milk crate

Whats wrong with doing staircase's on stilits..........................:RpS_thumbup: scaffolding is for homo's

we have the exact same scaffold by far the best staircase scaff we have used. there is a big opening in the ladders so you can walk through and the the top also opens on hinges so its no hassle to get up the stairs.

It's a case of if you do not wear long sleeves they have to provide sun cream because of the skin cancer risks :rolleyes) all bolloxs of course if you are working inside

Basically it all comes down to the same thing/reason. Money.

The companies themselves may not exist in 20 - 30 years, but the companies that insure them will, and they don't want someone trying to sue them for skin cancer or anything else. So they will put caveats into the insurance contracts which specify a range of requirements. Failure to comply will render the policy void, no insurance, no trading.

"Where there's blame, there's a claim." should actually read "Where some greedy **** tries it on, everyone else will have to pay.".
