Does anyone on here suffer from an aching shoulder. Ceilings r always a nightmare and I have too top up on brufen before I start. Any advice on cures/treatments would be helpful. Thanks Kev

I have the same trouble ive had it now for about three years, i have had to give up weight training because of it, i keep saying ill go and get it looked at but as yet have not.

I might have to book in for a massage.

There is a good sports massage clinic near me...will look into that.

The thing is my stamina is excellent....can skim hard for hours...but it is let down by the shoulder...arghhhhhhh!

CEILINGS ARE EASIER ON THE BODY THAN WALLS AS LONG AS YOU ARE SET UP RIGHT AS A RULE YOUR HEAD SHUD BE THE LENGTH OF YOUR HAND BELOW THE CEILING THIS WAY ITS A DODDLE sorry for caps carnt be ars ed re dooing

Go for it mate.

I pay about £25 for a half hour massage.

Worth every penny.

Even if it doesnt sort the problem, you have got a nice bird massaging you for half an hour.

I have always used two milk crates to stand on for ceilings. Maybe I need to go higher then?

Maybe I should invest in stilts?

I only tend to get aches from skimming big walls, its always in my wrist from the big up strokes. The other is a bad back from shovelling gear out of the bath.

i started taking jointcare plus and i think it helps because if i stop taking them after about 2 weeks the problems start

cod liver oil or good oil from waitrose, glutimnate sulphate tablets for joints a...need to take min 1200mg per day continually to make it work and a min of 2 months.to feel any different as it helps repair tendons/muscle damage and joints from getting arthritis or rsi......

they offered that stuff to me but i looked into it and it can end up causing more problems so i said noooooooo. and the thought of a very long needle being pushed right into the joint sort of put me off. :'( :'(
