Morning guys ( and any gals that may be reading)
Would appreciate advice on this - Chap has asked me to plaster the inside of his outside porch - Its a fully contained little porch so is protected from the elements - The interior of it has been artexed in, it would seem, bloody Kryptonite - Some artex finishes are quite soft and easily scraped but this stuff is 6-7 mm deep in places and cuts your hands to ribbons if you so much brush against it !!
Board it I thought and then skim - easy peasy , but should I be worried about damp (even though its weatherproof) or should I be using moisture resistant board that I have heard you shouldn't direct bond cos of its water repelling properties ?
Or just use normal board and not worry - I aint scraping it nor do I fancy hardwalling - Any ideas ??
