Hi,

Wondering if anyone could help me out, finished my apprenticeship 5 years ago (24 now) gained my nvq level 3 in solid plastering last year so got my gold cscs, so i have decided to set up on my own with one of my mates labouring for me, so got a few questions that i could use some advice on please.

1. should i get public liability insurance

2. are the fairtrades organisation or the federation of plasterers and drywall contractors worth joining

3. are chas worth joining

any advise on writing method statements and quotes would be appreciated.

thanks

Public liability is always worth having and is normally quite cheap...

The rest..... take it or leave it... I never was a part of them :)

Congratulations by the way on the Gold card... flynny will be proud of you :)

1.liability insurance is a must.
2.not worth joning if your a one man band.
3.yes but depends what your doing, again prob not if your a one man band.
