I have a job coming up to fit a suspended plasterboard ceiling, has anyone got any suggestions for a good system they have used.
thanks

Anyway, shite thread. OP, shame on you.

Here, have an explosion in a work factory.

Because what little boy never dreamt of one of them?

Say it’s being dropped 900mm and 400mm centers.

6 lengths of MF6A perimeter track
8 lengths of MF7 support channel
18 lengths of MF5 top hat
5 length of MF17 support angle
1 box of 13mm wafer head screws

Just buy it from Travis Perkins and get their tradeline stuff max of £130 including VAT.

Tin is more but evens itself out with time. It’s straight to. Timber on a delivery will come twisted to f**k.
Also tin is clean, no saw dust. I’ve done mf ceilings and gyp liner walls it’s a nice change to working on the trowel I’d be enjoying this job.

Advice please

Would like to do more of this sort of work if anyone can recommend a course please pm me, I don’t want to take thread off topic

What I like about dry work is being able to stop for a break whenever I want to, with Plastering there’s often no time to stop and it’s a battle against the clock.

Only done metal frame once . Amazed me how strong it was . Not sure but we Defo double boarded it with 15 mm sound boards. Just not sure we triple boarded it with a standard 12.5
