Advice re: recent eco-rend application to our house

Hi there, i’m after advice regarding the rendering job to the back of our house (done end of last year, pics attached). When the scaffolding was taken down an obvious join between the top and bottom sections of wall (plus some gaps) was apparent. The company sent the same chap back to do a quick fix but we could honestly see little difference. They are now saying they will send the same guy again to apply another layer of ecorend on top. Is it ok to do that with this product? Should this fix the problem and what about the beading? Advice appreciated. (We are a terraced house btw). Many thanks.

You could thin coat over it all, thin coat is a different style of render but will last longer than the finish you have at the moment

Is it nicer? Not necessarily but I've used it on my own house
