Hi all,
Brand new to the forum today.
My kitchen ceiling has been plastered (family member, long time ago) and you can see 2 distinctive cracked lines where the plasterboard joins and it's fairly uneven, to be honest with you. When the lights are on you can see how uneven the ceiling is.
What's the best course of action to have a nice smooth looking ceiling? I won't be doing myself as I'd prefer to leave plastering to the professionals.
Dimensions - 6000 x 3500 x 2350
- Does all the old plastering need taking down and join the plasterboard neater and re-plastered?
- Would it just require re-skimming and etc
Reason why I'm asking, is because I enjoy DIY and would like to know for future.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan
