Ammonia smell when skimming - thoughts?

Dont matter wot u think bout channel or presenter, am just on bout ammonia smell:




Curious wot u lot think bout it.

If on site reckon probly someone pissing in the mix, or cats marking territry at nite


On domestic maybe cats or tenants pissing on walls some time now or years ago


Or maybe BG have cats wandring round the gypsum piles before processing.



One intresting comment bout Dulux paint had problem smelling of ammonia. I remember Valspar did. That cud probly make a reskim smell ammonia.

SBR contaminated

You tip it back in the can and it'll stink

Other than that, if it hits certain organic substances it can chuck ammonia like a c**t.

You paint SBR on black in a fire place - it'll stink to s**t of ammonia.

I saw the clip of the guy that used the pink sbr he seemed genuine what actually caused the smell it’s hard to tell , Kirk couldn’t have been any fairer in his response,if it is the sbr time will tell sometimes theses things happen,
