Here's a wee job thanks to @SpankySouthport , Ben got the job off here but the job ran behind schedule which clashed with his other commitments so we carried it on. Got the chance to work with Ben for a week, a proper gent. Keep involved with the forum chaps, this was the third decent sized job I had last year off here.

@SpankySouthport is one of very few of decent, honest people i have ever had the pleasure to meet. Plus @Olican you got us some nice work too in the past so what goes around comes around ??:birra:

Not one to pick fault but..... Only kidding, top job. Great to see good work being posted and no one picking faults which aren't there!
Good bit of networking aswell by the sounds of it!

One of the beads above the window runs off by about 2mm......didnt want to say anything but does spoil it a bit....and theres a trowel mark next to the down pipe?...mabye a shadow from the way the sun is hitting it:inocente:.....

;)

How much did yous get for it. When I finish my course I'll be able to do jobs like that. I just don't know how to price. Just by looking at the pictures I'd say 3 to 4 days work in it.

I don't know much about building a stone wall but I d blame the s**t stone before blaming the stone mason

Nothing to do with s**t stone. Why stack stones very similar size one on top of each other with big running lines up the wall. bad stone is not an excuse for that. Them hallions just threw them in without any thinking behind how it would look. Probably our eastern friends did this! Theyve been doing it here in ireland for years now and ruining the look of our stone walls and have brought the prices down with it!

yeah all day long, what half an hour to stick the beads with a bit of bonding?? easy peasy-then just bang it all on -one coat, i"d prob say three days max, just let it go hard on windows then scrape it off- its only cheap crappy aluminium !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

never even noticed the stone wall in the pics at first.....:loco:....
wallcrete would have been a better option........sort it out @Olican ffs:crying:
