Keen to give this a go

But no spread I know use one, I've watched videos seen pictures and read reviews but before I order up o would like to see/use one in person.

Is.there anyone working around the Bristol area sometime soon who use's one or both of these?

Just literally want to stick my head around the door and see what its like

Trust me you won't regret the Eze spat. Flattens with ease an allows you to put more on. I have the Speedskim too but not used it much yet so trying to master it. I reccomendation getting atleast the 800 Eze spat and the pe for ceilings too.
sorry I'm not in bristol though pal.

and far what its worth mate there awesome you wont regret it just buy the 600mm and use it on the pole for the lids and good for all wall situations on domestic work...

the bigger sizes are more suited for larger areas with less obstacles on commercial/new build works...

trust me pal!:RpS_thumbup:

I'm in Bristol...I have a Refina 600 spat...If you are on site and have flat ceilings/walls I'm sure it's very useful. Personally I've tried using mine several times on domestics where nothing is flat and I prefer my trowel as I like to feel the variations in the walls and fill out here and there if you know what I mean...sometimes you have to go with what you've got and a wide blade isn't suitable.

Having said that it has been useful flattening in a couple of large ceilings

I have the Refina 600 and the speedskim with the metal blade .. Not really much between them except for the Ss being much cheaper

Ok cheers lads I'll give it a go I think!

@s.b.t plastering Ashton originally mate, but me and my misses got our own place in a lovely area called Knowle a couple if years ago haha.

Rory, unless your on site I wouldn't bother, just end up on a shelf. Whereabouts in Knowle? My girlfriend is in Knowle Park, nice houses there.

I got a full house in exeter to do what i can do is leave you on the job with the speedskim then i can get on with other stuff youve only got 3 days to finish and can we make it clear its no pay just speedsam experience!!:RpS_lol::RpS_thumbsup:

@FreeD I do a lot on board mate but never done site work, domestic stuff suits me better haha.

I thought all this speedskim stuff was good for all round? Saying that though that might be why I don't really know anyone who uses it as most the plasterers I know are all into private work too....

And yeah man Knowle park is nice, I live in the ghetto, Knowle west haha, although it ain't all that bad haha.

It's up to you mate I've got to do some winders and some fiddly bits on a staircase then we're on a kitchen which is where I'd use it so it won't be till next week, how flexible are you weve got to do some render on the same job which could be next week too so I could try me hardest to give you 2 days notice if not were into the next house but we've got to dab it first so that'll be at least 8 days away but we're flat out skimming then so it would be easier to grab a chance to pop in
