weighing up the options right now me old fruit and nut. The tiles seem solid. I would prefer to use silver sand and Lime

Everbuild 507 about £30 a tub, it has tiles on the recommended substrates

Was at the wholesalers today and they had tubs of that for £2 +Vat. looked at the date and its shelf life is 2 years and it was out of date by a couple of months. Its £35 a tub normally. anyone know if something magical happens if you use it out of date??

as long as the product hasn't been subjected to extreme temperature - I cant see a problem with using it out of date - within reason

Found it a lot finer grain size than the blue grit from Selco. Been using it inside over vinyl silk and other smooth shiny wall surface, better then blue grit I'm. £2 a tub is a worth a test.

its the same company so im guessing it's the same product with a couple of small changes to make it usable externally.

Your probably correct @beddy just remember thinking it's smaller grain. On another size issue... Had Wagon Wheels today they are smaller than they were years ago not much bigger than a digestive now. Lidl's own brand hobnobs from now on with our tea.
