Anyone tried the new plaster in B&Q 'Make Good' (seen it in other places too) I was Impressed

it was cheaper, it felt good on the trowel, it went on well and spread well.
the Adhesive was class, grabbed instantly, dried quickly, smooth to mix.
i have been impressed so far.

ha ha I thought that when I wrote it, it was a genuine question, i've been reading this forum for ages and never posted anything, recently with all the noise around price hikes I thought it would be helpful. feel free to remove it if you think its an advert.

Tried the dab as it was around a £1.50 cheaper than BG and my mate said it was decent. Mixes up well, bit sticky compared to BG but I guess it is glue! It grabs straight away and goes off quicker letting me skim it sooner. Hopefully they keep their prices down

Seems my local bq are winding down easy fill stock,,,and punting this,,,cant find any information does it bond to painted surfaces.
Easy fill 20 now out of stock.loads of that gear now in.

It can be used on new plaster and painted surfaces they have said.
Give it a go tomorrow.

I’ve used it on new plaster and painted walls and it works great mate.

This isn’t a backing coat or skimming coat is it ? Just for taping and jointing and filling ?

Btw you will be outed as a fraud.

Saw it in Manchester today didn't have a proper look but will tomorrow, pretty sure it was drywall and an easy fill but they had a few pallets. All different sizes to suit the diy ;)

Their website shows it can be used as a skim coat. It would need to be sanded i reckon.it is a cheaper alternative to easy fill,,, don't know if its as good until its tested.

£18.54 for a bag of quick dry aint no game changer.easy fill 20 is only a couple of quid dearer.

Yet they are deliberately trying to get rid of easyfill in stock.

I wouldn’t of thought easifill was a big seller anyway a few bags a week per store I’d say

They have moved multi in b&q Stevenage for this gear, guess what in nearly two weeks none sold

So which of their products is for skimming?
I've looked and can't see one, despite their mention of skimming.

You need to sand them down,,,,so none leave a finish like multi etc,,,,
The link above says use for skim,,,,i contacted them and the say all can be used on different surfaces.
Nothing new,,,,as i said it offers only a few quid a bag cheaper than easy fill 20.

Nope,,,,why you happy with that.
Don't see many people promoting it in this thread.
By the way your still a fanny.

Says the man who takes a picture first of a potential fire before dealing with said issue.

To think you could get £590 for £10 by simply buying an Easter bonus ball , 21 numbers left , nela mediflex runner up prize ,nearest lower number to the winner ,

Had a look today what a load of shite and expensive but not as expensive as half a bag of hahahahah who makes these prices up for half the product or less ten percent cheaper? That also includes BG.

used the 20 min quick dry on a few occasions this week. F*** that gear goes like iron far quicker than easy fill 20.
Hardness,,,,you cannot pair it back like easy fill.prefer it for coving than easy fill though don't know how it sands as yet.
Wish it was cheaper.

This s**t they selling is not plaster skim it’s terrible big scam it smells of cat piss it’s more board adhesive than any thing s**t product just cus there’s no plaster they start pushing this s**t
