To be fair that would be a good system I've been using something this week and it's the dogs bollox, I've been a joiner for the last couple of weeks with a bit of electrics and plumbing thrown in OH and a bit of boarding. The gear is called CT1 Its a liquid nails type thing but so f**k**g strong . If this was applied to the back of plaster boards with screws as a Secondary fixing I would say it was better than what we have. @BritishGypsum heres an idea for you, you could bring out your own s**t and charge a fortune, your missing a trick oh and if you decide to do it and want to name the system after anyone? Just ask xI think one in each corner would do and a bit of no nails on the board....those drywall screws are expensive you know
The motorbike did cross my mind lol300 mm c/c is the max mate, for ceiling you can do 250. It's not wrong if 300, but you need to make sure that motorbike won't fall through.
Just go back to your first picture from gold trowels and compare it with this one. I will say Pete has showed you some magic.
yeah Pete is magic....since i done some time with him I changed my method completely from what I was shown....not that the shown method was wrong but adapting to Pete's way of doing it made it all so much easier.300 mm c/c is the max mate, for ceiling you can do 250. Got to love this forum lol. @Lodan , thon @flynnyman reeled you in like a big spring salmon lol. c**t got me awhile back to! Thou he was right about the screws. Something I didn't notice so I must be a hallion too. One thing thou, at least you put them in nice and neat. You want to see the hack of some of the boarding we've had to plaster over here. Madness.
P.s, your a brave man for putting pics on up here, me, I keep them private just like the pics of my wee pecker. Don't want to get slaTed for them lol
