Just been on a job today and the owner went to the tip with the crap off the job and was told if he wanted to dump a sheet of plasterboard which was water damage it would cost him £3.00.

What's all that about I ask you.

We were told on a job the other day if we wanted to get rid of plasterboard it is gonna cost us £400 for a skip just for plasterboard, i think they are clamping down on it as apparentley it causes dangerous gases when it goes to landfill.

i get one of the young lads to cut all off cuts up and put in rubble sacks, then cable tie,, then place in centre of skip.. job done

it aint just because its gives of gasses tho it has to be recycled now by law and they reproduce it. so they get charged for sending it to the plant who in turn make money again when they reproduce the fresh gear. win win and lose lose situations depending on where you sit

no you dont beadyoas. you put it in that cupboard under the stairs outside, like in the picture you showed us. where ever possible put off cuts in a stud before you put the last board up. i was on a job with nick01241942492 whatever his name is, and the bloke we were working for must have got his lads to put half a skip worth of board in the studs. fair play i say
