Artex bubbling

Afternoon chaps... just a quick question... has anyone ever had air bubbles in their artex ???

Has happened to me twice now and am keen to figure out what's happening... only thing I can think of is that maybe I am over mixing the artex ??? Have attatched pic

It’s your prep. Surface hasn’t been sealed properly. School boy error!!!
