would anybody know if asbestos was ever used in the making of plasterboard going back say 40 yrs i have contacted the HSE and waiting for a reply, because i was cutting through an old plasterboard ceiling and it was a bluey grey colour and much harder than todays plasterboards, just curious

asbestolux board, used in garages for fire protection.... dunno bout 'plaster'board tho...

Well I can just about go back 40 yrs and no plasterboard back then is very much the same as today.
