Have a mp75 job starting and currently water is an issue on site but they are greeting some big water cubes delivered to site for me . Will my water pump draw the water from the tank if I drop the hose in the top and if so wats the max length. The pipe can be from tank to water pump ? Thanks in advance

You can send the water up to 30 mts. I always work this way. Saves having the butt next to the machine.
You must use a short suction hose no bigger than 2'5mts. I use the 1'25" suction pipe with non return valve

ebay Lee - brass foot valve

Jut doing one myself.
make sure you get the right size valve (diamater) for the suction pipe you gonna use. make sure there is a gauze mesh over the end of the foot valve

Just came back from site to make sure every thing as as it should . Ready for Monday start. The tanks have fitting on the bottom so I can attach my hose straight to , so,need on here but I'll still get it sorted for as and when. Ian you say I can send the water 30 mtrs I'm gna give this a go as it does get a little clutterd at times. Will this affect the performance any ? Cheers? Also can I jet wash my pump of is it water tight ? Cheers

We used to use IBCs for water you can buy a brass tap that screws onto the valve at the bottom so your geka will fit best if you create a head, on some trestles or something..
