I did a bedroom for a couple earlier this week and took these photos on the way out. You couldn't make it up. They had someone in to do the hall stairs and landing and were going to use him again but couldnt get in touch with him as his mobile just rang out.

Can we have a sticky for bad work @Danny. We could just go to that and post the pics then instead of a new thread each time

Haha this looks like one of my very first homers I done whilst a 1st year apprentice. I thought I could get away with not using pva on an artex ceiling. I got a call back a few days later and the whole lot was hanging, just had to touch it and it fell down! Learnt an expensive lesson that day. Was a fairly big ceiling for being a 1st year too.. Around 25m2

You know joking aside we shouldn't be so quick to just zoom in and start ripping someones work to bits. Maybe they wouldn't turn the heating off (all been there) maybe it was a bad batch of multi? A bit of filler and 2 coats of dulux and any half decent decorator would have that looking brilliant.

I don't know why u lot are all so keen to pretend your perfect. Its not even that rough......

I think you all under estimating the effort that has gone into that, do you realise how hard it is to make something look that bad.
