Mate just bought a little Kango van which we will use for our little jobs. Van is is nice nick but at the end of the day its a £1000 van so dont wanna throw £200 at it getting it written up professionally as it prob wont last.

Was looking at summit like these kits

Was gonna keep it basic black text, joe bloggs plastering, tel nos x2 no logos etc

Has anyone used these kits and wat text would u have if u had a little van??

best idea in this day an age... you can have acme plastering, acme plumbing, acme electrical, acme joinery all stashed in a little flap just inside the side door...
in fact, why spend all that money, just have one with acme on it and a load of individual letters...

you can even have 'wish the missus was this dirty' when your bored... :RpS_thumbup:

Don't want to spend 200 on sign writing?! Mine on my old van cost 200 and I got about 1000 quid of work off it. Pay cheap look cheap.Oh and chris you forgot acme property rentals

Beddy you have me all wrong. Advertising/marketing is one area i will open my wallet for. I think these diy kits on ebay look fit
for purpose

yeh.... and catflaps... today was all about catflaps... :RpS_sleep:

200 for sign writing isn't expensive mate. One job will more than likely pay for it. All I ever had was SB Plastering website 'ALL ASPECTS UNDERTAKEN' and number. Nice and simple but because there wasn't much wording it could be quite big. And rocks right I had mine blue and it does seem to stand out. I see vans around cov with 'skimmiing, patching, rendering, cover artex, boarding' bla bla. If you're a plasterer then surely you do all of the above?

No mate, not had an issue at with them, if you go to a decent sign maker you can match the colour of the mag backround to your vehicle colour as i did, think they cost me about a oner for the two side ones and two for the tailgate

I think I paid about £230 including VAT, not a lot in my opinion, its got me loads of jobs!
