bathroom advice please

Hi guys,
Could anyone advise me on a good product to seal black mortar dust before I dot n dab bear brickwork? Also, I'm planning to use aqua board in the bath / shower area - can you tile straight onto it?

hi Pete,yes you can go straight onto boards with tiles.i would suggest giving walls agood rub down with a wire brush to kill most of dust then a coat of weak pva followed by a stronger one.some lads just go with weak but if rather over kill.Hope this helps.cheers
 
The condition of the brickwork (dampwise) especially if its downstairs, and house wise cavity or not will determine how long your planning on the plasterboard staying there.

Why not put a waterproof scratch coat on then dab it?
