s.p.t plastering

I'm going to price a bathroom in a bit that needs plastering, 2 of the walls are blown, so will need floating.

do you have to use sand and cement in bathrooms?.....Or can i use hardwall?

I know bonding is out the question.

use hardwall mate .........ive used bonding loads of times for tight coats over tile adhesive

Sound, didn't really want to be setting up a mixer just for 2 bathroom walls.

Was going to mix it up in groilla bucket with whisk, done this before with sand and cement, the last cheap whisk caught fire though...But it's a lot of strain evan for the makita whisk, had to make sure there was plenty of water in there to start with.

Your ok with a wisk if you using pre bagged,i have wisked may a bag of c.p.i, mainly on small jobs when you do`nt want the cement mixer out.

I use my whisk with sand/cement on small jobs like that , bag an half plasterin sand and couple of shovels of quick cem , skimmed up for dinner ;)

Yes, that's what i'm going to do i reckon.

Just don't want to burn out the whisk, or get a crappy mix.
