Hi.anyone know of a supplier of a cement board stop bead for going around the bottom and if I can get one that has a built in insect mesh.im installing vertical battens on a timber frame with cement board and thin coat basically.thanx

cant you just use a normal and overlap with mesh?

I don't want to see the underside of cement board especially looking up at dormers etc.ive used a 13mm render stop bead back to front in the past but just wondering if there is a better product.something like a vented base rail like u use with insulation but for the cement board cheers

Board edging bead, available in different thicknesses, just get it same as your cement board

would it not be better just having a vented strip fitted after ? hard to say with out seeing the job
