I dont do deer mate. Only got an air rifle and even then its sub 12ft lb so wouldnt shoot at anythingbigger than a pheasant or a hare.
 
ye i know hes a shooter just wonder if a fellow air rifle owner knew anyone that they could go with
not been out with mine for ages either rifle or 12 gauge :RpS_thumbdn:

my cousin is good mates with the bloke who owns Diggerland and hes got a place near us so hes gonna ask if i can go down shooting (hes got about 70+ acres at the back doing nowt)

Thats the problem I dont know anyone who owns loads of land. Ive asked countless farmers if they have a problem but they've either got someone already or dont trust you

Steve I'm off to France soon come along you can help me with the work.
Plus there's plenty of wild boar, deer, etc in the forest opposite :RpS_thumbup:
The local hunters don't give a fcuk walking round with shotguns & a bottle of vino pmsl :RpS_laugh:
 
I wouldn't fancy shooting a wild boar with an air rifle. Itd probably catch the pellet eat it then chase me

The neighbour told me the hunters pulled out a big male boar from the forest they had shot one sunday, put him on the back of a pick up, took him to the local restaurant, then after he'd been checked over by a vet(blood test) it was on the spit roast on the Monday lol :RpS_drool:
 
Managed to get 2 days stalking deer a few years back in the highlands when they had a cull. Before they let you shoot at them you have to be able to get a 150mm group at 100m otherwise you ur knackered oh and u need a firearms ticket and a rifle of course. And Beddy if ur having bother getting somwwhere to shoot ur air rifle do what me and sone of my mates did about 10 years ago chip in and buy some land.

wouldnt like to think i was shooting a boar or deer with a shotgun :RpS_scared:

my mates got his open ticket id love to have a go with one of his rifles, im wouldnt ask him though cos is a boring cant
