these are quite funny... although I was on site next to the the one that fell down in MK which was not good

Every trade was adjusting scaffold to suit their needs and then it collapsed... bloody nightmare for us next door as we were not allowed weather sheeting out o the scaffolder and it was all over engineered

Think 2 people died a father and son they were friends of my sister if I remember right.

Lots of trades were able to jump in to the building as to was coming down

I was in bangladesh last year with work and all the scaffolding is made of bamboo lashed together. Non of the lengths are straight si looks scary as feck. Near the factory we were at was a 10 storey building with one end held up by 3 pillars as there was a gap to drive the lorries in and the building went over that and rested on the pillars.....it's a scary placec with no kind of regs.
 
Several years ago a firm we were working for had a scaffold collapse , it was tied in through windows on top elevation of a rectory they where refurbing ,same old story ; trades adjusting to suit themselves. The whole thing came down in one and landed in the graveyard. It came down Christmas morning, the site manager and company boss had to clear it all up missing Xmas dinner
 
Yeah the mk one 2 blokes died. My old work mate was working there.

Had a funny one a couple of years back. They were refurbing a big 3-4 storey building on Berkhampstead high street. I wasn't working there but tried to drive past in the morning and the road was shut. The entire front of the building had fallen out. And landed in the road. Fortunately at night. Could see straight through the house into all the rooms
