Yes we have all had that old chestnut from passers-by , LOL but i think there is something in this , my wife bakes and decorates cake to a very high standard , and when you watch them doing this lots of the small tools are the same they even rub-up the sides and top with a small plastic float and i must admit if i see them struggling i jump in and show them my skills , they love it , and i have heard of a few ex-spreads who are top cake decorators !! come -on lads you all do a bit of cake baking and decorating l would love to see you in your pinnys in a photo doing your cakes LOL.

I am impressed to read that your wife can decorate cakes to a very high standard @gooner59 and i also have some serious skills in this area because i can eat cakes to an extremely high standard :RpS_thumbsup:
