That’s what I thought. I usually see builders building solid block piers to sit steels like that on.
@imago definetly knows his stuff though so I’m sure it’s better supported than the pic makes it look

10n pads sitting on block piers off concrete foundations. The end closest to the camera is open because we had to slide it onto the far pad, then go sideways in the near slot.

The building round this end along with the restraint straps are a job for another day. We're trying to get the roof stripped before the rain starts again.

Anyone want some 5m span trusses? Free to a good home.
