Hello all,

Just bought thatb gyproc blade runner feckin awesome bit of kit.... works a treat.

Looking forward to tacking that ceiling tomorrow!!

ITS QUICKER WITH AN EDGE AND KNIFE THE THING IS 2 HARD 2 CUT A STRIGHT LINE AND U NEED THE BOARDS LAYED OUT IN A WAY WERE U CAN GET 2 BOTH SIDES ECT..

hmmmm,

I used it today on 9.5mm boards was ok, got a strong old magnet on it...lol snapped shut on my finger bloody hurt.

I didnt think it was that expensive... £51 with 12 x blades and a pouch

thats what i wear to work! that and a leather thong, the old girls love it! ;D ;D
 
cut wise tho... you statistically you can cut much much more with the bladerunner as it cutse the paper and not much into the boards i immagine? guess you coulg measure the distance from the centre cuttig line and have an edge offset the same distance from the line you want to be cutting and hey presto, it'll work a treat, but i guess thats too much faffing about, sure peiople will get the hang of it tho
 
i thought there was a notch dead center of it so you could hook your tape into. i rarely use a straight edge, just hold me knife to the tape. £50 still too expensive for me to change me ways tho.
 
Used it today to tack a ceiling supherb!!

the slot for the measure is goodn works well is annoying occasionally when you cant get to both sides of the board but not too much trouble.

I've had a look and it's not anything I can change so Danny'll have to sort it.

The word wasn't the issue. It's the fact that your post appeared to condone the use of Drugs which this forum can't and won't do.

Just been into B & Q here in Sheffield, and they have shed loads of these things at £ 34.95, I bought one the other week from a different supplier and it cost me £ 40.00 >:( Marvelous tool, take a little getting used to but I cant fault it, although I did trap my finger in it twice !
 
reali...travis aint some a any in are area they are not as gd and a sharp blade and stright edge..i took my'n back the same day ...i dont use a tape message as a guide..i messure and mark up first..so i dint get on with it at all.
