anyone seen or used this new tool on the market it's called bladerunner for cutting platerboard with ease, it's meant to be double bladed and safer than a stanley anyone used it ;D ;D
 
Crap! Even more crap if you get your fingers caught between the plates. Crappity crappity crap crap crap. And brown bread is the same colour as crap too Inspiral Carpets.

I haven't used that one, but have had a BG tool that looks as if its works in the same way for ages, the BG one works really well as long as the board is fresh and crisp as 2 little wheels perforate the paper and you then just snap of the strip.
That other tool you use Simply, what sort of blades does it use, are they easy to get?
 
the local tool hire shops sells them here but you can get them on ebay, if you got 4 packs thats 20 blades and they last ages because there double ended like normal blades

My old man was so tight at work he used to resharpen the blades in his Stanley, I used to say throw the bloody thing away put a new one in and get more done in the time you'd be sharpening.

They are handy for ripping boards down that are just a tad too long. I think Refina do one that will lop off up to 200mm
