Hey all.
Can i ask for advice on why my render top coat keeps blowing?.
Block garden wall. 7N Blocks. I cleaned and PVA'd the wall. 4:1 scratch coat with waterproofer in the mix. That was all fine and the render cured great. I obviously keyed the scratch coat, but when i tapped the finished top coat with my finger.... Well, that hollow sound erupted and the render then came off in chunks with very little effort.
The top coat is a mix of 5:1 with 150ml of waterproofer per bag of sand. Oh i have been wetting the coat every couple of hours to stop it curing too quickly in the sunshine.
Can anyone give me some advice on why its blowing?
