I have a flat to start tomorrow and all the ceilings are sound block is it these that pull like mad or moisture board??? I think its the sound block but cant remember ?

I put up and skimmed a soundbloc ceiling on thursday using board finish never noticed it pulling in any quicker, plus I do the plastering work for a soundproofing firm in london never have any problems with it pulling in too quick.

Maybe its the moisture board then .... I just remember a few years ago we had a load of flats to do and all the ceilings were blue board and they went off like bombs

rich moisture resistant board is called moisture resistant board because its resistant to moisture you plantpot.. too many shandy's mate ;D
soundbloc do have a habit of pulling up bit quick, someone mentioned when youve gotta double board (which a lot of jobs you have) then stick the sounbloc up first and then overboard with fireline or normal..

hehe well I have had trouble with one out of the two in the past and just hope I dont have it tomorrow cause I got 6 ceilings to skim tomorrow and I just cant be doing with stressing about it
